Can you wear black patent shoes to a wake/funeral?
We have a funeral to go to and I know what to wear clothes wise but the only pair of black shoes that I have are patent leather. Would they be okay to wear? I'm wearing long black pants so you wouldn't see much more the an inch or so of the toe.
Black patent shoes are fine. They're elegant. Unless they're extremely over-the-top sexy (like stripper shoes). Other than that you should be fine, especially since they'll be mostly covered.
