i have these tiny little green moss looking partials growing on tank walls now to i reduce growth rate?
my tank grows my live plants fantastically, however recently i have had lots dark green moss growing on my ornament and on my gravel, now there are small bits on the wall, nothing major however it i don't do something it will keep growing. how do i reduce the growth rate? is there too much bacteria in my tank or are my lights making the moss grow faster?
i have a 200 liter Jebo tank
i do have bristol nose catfish who eat algae, will snails or shrimp do something different that they dont?
as for my light i have it on from about 8am to 10 pm should i reduce it the time that the light it on?
its not a salt water tank, its just a tropical tank and i checked the ph and its fine just also if you were all wondering and my tank is slightly cloudy
also is there a type of shrimp you can suggest?
I'm not a biologist but, when I had a 55 gal tank. I turned the light off and it reduced the growth rate of the moss.
You might want to buy some sucker fishes to eat the moss.
